Heather Blitz is an international Grand Prix Rider plus a popular clinician in Europe, Denmark and the USA and often teams up with Mary Wanless and Hillary Clayton. She has been in Europe for the last 3 years competing against the best in the world often finishing near the top. Heather focuses on the effect of the riderʼs body and aids on the horse at all levels and teaches a clear and easy to understand system of training to riders of all levels. She had an article published in the November 2009 issue of Dressage Today and the following is her website:
The Clinic will be held at the beautiful Pineland facility in New Gloucester, Maine. Conveniently located, Pineland has a huge indoor arena, viewing area, and comfortable facilities for auditors. Stabling will also be available.
Participants may be chosen to represent the full range of riders and horses in the Southern Maine community, from Training to FEI. This format will limit the number of participants, but will provide a tremendous educational opportunity for everyone.
Priority will be given to the riders able to ride both days.
Opening date for members is March 1, 2010
Opening date non members is March 15, 2010
Closing date for both is March 31, 2010
Rider cost SMDA Members:
Private 45 minute lesson: $180
Semi Private (Training and First levels): $125
Rider cost non-SMDA members:
Private 45 minute lesson: $225
