Are you . . .
Stuck at Intro Level?
Ready to Break-out of Training Level
(but not quite ready for First)?
SMDA is pleased to announce a Clinic with Heidi Hauri-Gill to be held Saturday, March 20. Heidi is a dressage rider, trainer and L Program Graduate who owns and operates First Choice Riding Academy in Enfield, NH. www.firstchoiceridingacademy.com
The focus of this clinic is to work with riders who are eager to move up to the next level. Heidi Hauri-Gill is a seasoned instructor with a passion for helping students achieve their potential. Her goal is to de-mystify the training pyramid, help riders understand the requirements for Training and First Level, and work with them to develop the skills that will allow them to move up!
The clinic will be held at Photo Finish Farm in Buxton, ME, which has an indoor arena and comfortable viewing area for auditors. www.photofinishfarm.com
Who should participate in this clinic?
Intro level riders who aspire to Training Level – Heidi will work with you to help you confirm canter transitions and leads in preparation for Training Level. Training Level riders seeking to move up to First Level – Heidi will explain the First Level requirements for thrust (pushing power) and a greater degree of balance and throughness. She will coach riders learning to sit the trot and perform the lengthenings required at First Level.
Who should audit this clinic?
Anyone interested in gaining knowledge of dressage training techniques. In particular, we encourage instructors with Intro and Training Level students to come audit to learn techniques for helping their riders move up.
