Shannon Dueck is an international Grand Prix rider, and individual silver medalist in the 1997 Pan American Games. In 2002, Shannon was the top placed Canadian at the World Equestrian Games, finishing in 25th place overall. She won the Swarovski Canadian League World Cup Final and represented Canada at the 2003 World Cup Final. Shannon was also part of the Canadian Dressage Team at the European Dressage Championships at Hickstead where the Canadians qualified a team for the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens.

Shannon currently trains with Carl Hester in Great Britain, and competes with Ayscha, a ten-year-old bay Oldenburg mare. Shannon and Ayscha have been successful in International Grand Prix competition in Florida and Germany, and now have their sights firmly set on the Olympics in London in 2012. www.dueckdressage.com

The symposium will be held at Spring Creek Farm in Lyman, Maine. The facility, conveniently located ten minutes from the turnpike, has a large indoor arena, a heated viewing area, and comfortable facilities for auditors. Stabling is available. www.springcreekmaine.com
